A panel of experts advising the US Food and Drug Administration voted Thursday against approving for sale a new obesity treatment called Qnexa, citing safety risks. While a high percentage of Americans are overweight or obese, there are few medical treatments.(AFP/File/Tim Sloan)AP - Women who gain too much weight during pregnancy have big babies, putting their children at risk of becoming heavy later on, a new study says.
