It is expected that this latest release will contain more information about Mr Kennedy's killer Lee Harvey Oswald and his life in the months leading up to the assassination in Dallas, Texas including a trip he took to Mexico in September 1963. The National Archives will likely post them as zip files available for download. |

Airlines get ready for new U.S. security rules from Thursday Posted: 25 Oct 2017 01:10 PM PDT By David Shepardson and Jamie Freed WASHINGTON/TAIPEI (Reuters) - New security measures including stricter passenger screening take effect on Thursday on all U.S.-bound flights to comply with government requirements aimed at responding to threats of hidden explosives, airlines said. Airlines contacted by Reuters said the new measures could include short security interviews with passengers at check-in or the boarding gate, sparking concerns over flight delays and extended processing time. U.S. Transportation Security Administration officials are giving some airlines or airports additional time to comply with the new interviews as long the U.S. government has approved security plans by Thursday. |

Iowa parents arrested after son's corpse is found on swing Posted: 26 Oct 2017 01:09 PM PDT An Iowa couple has been charged with murder after authorities found their child's maggot-infested body in a swing. According to a criminal complaint filed in Chickasaw County District Court, officers arrived at the home of Zachary Koehn and Cheyanne Harris to find the couple's four-month-old son dead in a swing seat. An autopsy later suggested the child - called Sterling - was undernourished, falling below the 5th percentile in height and weight, and found the infant's body "to have maggots in various stages of development in his clothing and on his skin", the complaint says. |

A group of men approached the couple near a local railway station and demanded selfies with the woman before attacking them with stones on Sunday, the Times of India daily said. It said the man suffered a fractured skull while his girlfriend, a 24-year-old Swiss national, had a broken arm and multiple bruises. |
